Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Claribizz ("Claribizz", "we") collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers three groups of people: businesses that sign up for Claribizz, visitors to this website, and customers who chat with an assistant we run for one of our clients.
1. Information we collect
From businesses that sign up: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, and the business information you give us so we can set up your assistant (for example your services, prices, hours and common questions). Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
From website visitors: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which our hosting provider records in the ordinary course of running a website. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.
From customers who chat with an assistant: the messages they send, the replies they receive, and a random session identifier. If they share contact details so a business can follow up, we pass those details to that business.
2. How we use it
We use information to set up and run your assistant, to hand conversations to your team, to produce your monthly summaries, to take payment through Paddle, to answer your questions, to keep the service secure, and to improve it. We do not sell personal information.
3. Our role for chat conversations
When we run an assistant for a client business, that business decides what the assistant is for and is responsible for how its customers' information is used. We handle those conversations on the business's behalf and only to provide the service. If you are a customer of one of our clients and have a question about your messages, please contact that business first.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Claribizz: for hosting, for our database, for the language processing that writes the assistant's replies, for messaging channels such as WhatsApp, for email, and for payments (Paddle). They only receive the information they need to do their job and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We may also share information if the law requires it.
5. Where it is processed
Our providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We choose providers that protect information to a reasonable standard.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the service and meet legal obligations. If you end your plan or ask us to delete your information, we will delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Security
We use sensible technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop using it in certain ways. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we can. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Claribizz is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children for our own purposes.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page, and we will tell you about important changes.
11. Contact
